Grid Start Packs

The Red Flash GridStart pack is an ideal addition to workshop or pit equipment. Using a GridStart in the pit, garage, paddock or on the grid will reduce the strain on your racing battery. Our packs are available with either an Anderson connector or high quality, fully insulated crocodile clips. The cable is 1.5m long 25mm2 welding grade that combines maximum power transfer with maximum flexibility. These packs, which come with their own dedicated charger and are available in either UK or EU versions.

New for 2011 is an adapter lead allowing you to use the GridStart powerpack with either the 175A large connector or the smaller 50A as used on WRC, BTCC and many of the open wheel formula cars.

home, conserving vital onboard battery
power.


Utilisation of the same A.G.M. (Absorbed
Glass Mat) technology, within the Red
Flash RF650 Grid Start Power Pack,
found in our Varley Red Top Racing
Batteries, provides the ability to harness
large amounts of power from a pack
weighing 10Kg. It has a number of safety
features such as an isolator key switch,
ideal for safe transportation of the pack
and also protection circuits, which will
protect your ECU from current surges.



The Red Flash RF650 Grid Start Power
Pack comes complete with a 2A Multi
Stage Mains Charger to ensure that your
pack is recharged as fast and efficiently
as possible. The 25mm˛ cables are
welding grade and so have a very low
resistance, allowing very high amounts
of current to flow.
